A Borchardt C 93, Loewe manufacture, in its case,

circa 1895, cal. 7.65 Borchardt, no. 900. Matching numbers. Mirror-like bore, barrel length 190 mm. Eight shots. Proof-marked crown/"BUG". Screwed on rear sight leaf. Pinned triangle front sight. Receiver marked "WAFFENFABRIK / LOEWE / BERLIN", on right side of fork housing "SYSTEM BORCHARDT. PATENT." Complete brushed bluing. Small parts blue, spotted due to age. Walnut grip panels. Matching-numbered nickel-plated magazine, spotted body, matching-numbered spare magazine, matching-numbered walnut detachable stock with matching-numbered cheek.<\B> Weapon in almost mint condition, presumably unused.
Complete in matching wooden case covered with black leather and key, dimensions 38 x 19 x 9 cm. Handle replaced, inlaid with red felt. Contents: two matching-numbered spare magazines from later manufacture, magazine dummy ("Sperrholz"/plywood) with integrated three-part brass cleaning rod with grease can, two-blade screwdriver, leather-case oil flask, leather-case Vaseline tin, 36 cm brass cleaning rod for use with screwdriver grip. All leather casing of later manufacture.
Serial numbers of Loewe manufacture go as far as approx. 1.100. Afterwards a further approx. 2.000 C 93s were produced in slightly modified form under the "DWM" logo. Production therefore stopped at around no. 3.100. That is why Loewe-manufactured C 93s are rare and sought after, especially so if they come in the original case with accessories.
